Scottsdale, Paradise Valley legislative district candidates now official

Kavanagh, Marsh, Mendez seek reelection

It’s the first election since legislative district boundaries across Arizona were re-drawn, and although the district names changed — from LD 23, 24 and 28 to LD 3, 4 and 8 — Scottsdale and Paradise Valley voters will see familiar names on the upcoming primary ballot.

Candidates were named official after an April 4 filing deadline.

Legislative District 3 covers north Scottsdale, the Cave Creek and Fountain Hills areas and extends to eastern Phoenix.
