Maricopa County has awarded money to notMYkid to enhance social and emotional support programs for youth and young adults provided by the Scottsdale-based organization.
The money is coming from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, which is using a grant to allocate $5.7 million to community organizations that are working with those who are facing health disparities in the Valley.
The county received the funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to address issues created or worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.
