Scottsdale mayor’s former chief of staff seeks $1.5 million for wrongful termination

Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky’s former chief of staff Lamar Whitmer is leaving the possibility of a wrongful termination suit against the city on the table.

His attorney Dennis Wilenchik served a notice of claim to Scottsdale City Manager’s Greg Caton’s office April 9.

In it, Wilenchik states Whitmer is willing to settle out of court for $1.5 million.
