Scottsdale mayoral candidates turn in campaign finance reports

Incumbent David Ortega has financial lead on challengers Linda Milhaven and Lisa Borowsky

Money and elections have probably gone hand in hand since the very beginning, and this year is no different.

Candidates for Scottsdale mayor filed their campaign finance reports for the first quarter of the year, January 1 through March 31, and incumbent David Ortega has a large lead over challengers Linda Milhaven and Lisa Borowsky.

Ortega started the quarter with a balance of $73,106 and he raised $42,857, giving him a balance of $119,107.
