Scottsdale Mayor Borowsky champions higher police pay

Despite continual annual pay raises, Scottsdale Police officers find themselves toward the bottom of the pay spectrum for law enforcement in the Valley again.

According to a report shared by the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA), using data from Jan. 3, Scottsdale currently ranks seventh in the Valley in pay.

That puts Scottsdale behind cities like Tempe, Glendale and Gilbert and in front of only Goodyear, Peoria and Mesa.
