September is nearly here, marking a fresh start for Scottsdale’s City Council as it returns from a summer siesta.
As council prepares to hit play on its 2021 session, many elected leaders say the work didn’t stop during the time away from formal meetings.
“Although the City Council hasn’t met since early July, I have been working on city matters over the summer,” said Councilman Tom Durham. “The more relaxed calendar has given me time to meet with parties proposing different projects and has given me time to learn about the features of these projects.”
