Scottsdale man sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for embezzlement

A former finance director from Scottsdale, who pleaded guilty to embezzling almost $10.8 million from his employer, was sentenced on Aug. 10 to 6.5 years in prison and ordered to pay the money back to his employer.

Mark Latham, 61, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Dominic W. Lanza after having pleaded guilty to wire fraud charges, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office.
