Scottsdale looking for public opinion on noise ordinance

Public is welcome to sign up for workshops on the issue

There is no time cutoff for when noise from a bar or a restaurant becomes a nuisance under Scottsdale ordinances.

Instead, police are required to make a subjective call made when responding to a noise complaint, under the city’s special noise violations ordinance.

Ambiguities like that are part of why the city is looking to update its special noise violations ordinance.
