Scottsdale Historical Museum in need of volunteers

Posted

The Scottsdale Historical Museum is coming out of it’s summer hiatus and is reopening Sept. 6.

And the museum, located in the little red school house on the Scottsdale Civic Center in front of city hall, is in need of volunteers.

“They could work as much as one day a month and it would be helpful,” said Terry Erickson, the museum’s volunteer coordinator.

The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Shifts can be as short as two hours and as long as four hours, depending what the volunteer wants to do.

For more information, or to volunteer, email Erickson at terry@scottsdalehistory.org or call (480) 560-3392.
