Scottsdale ends year on good fiscal footing

The city of Scottsdale ended fiscal year 2022-23, which ended June 30, in good fiscal standing.

In total, the general fund budget was expected to bring in $371.6 million in revenue with expenses planned at $320 million.

However, preliminary estimates of the year-end budget show a rosier picture, according to City Treasurer Sonia Andrews who presented her report to the city council Aug. 21.
