Scottsdale detectives make child sex trafficking arrest

Scottsdale Police Department detectives have arrested Valley resident Sean Edward Winkler, 28, on charges related to child sex trafficking.
On Sept. 14, Winkler was arrested and held in custody for child sex trafficking, attempted sexual conduct with a minor and attempted money laundering, police officials say.
Officials say Winkler allegedly agreed to pay for a sex act with a 16-year-old female, who was a Human Exploitation and Trafficking — known as HEaT — detective he met on a social media app. Winkler reportedly arrived for the meet up as agreed upon, and was arrested by Scottsdale detectives.
