Scottsdale detectives have arrested Roderick Roxas-Powers on sex charges.
The arrest was made last month after, according to police, the suspect had “initiated contact on an online application and began communicating with an undercover detective who was posing as a 16-year-old girl.”
Authorities said Roxas-Powers told the undercover detective that he wanted to meet up so they could have sex. When he arrived at the meet-up spot, he was arrested for luring a minor for sexual exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
