Scottsdale continues study on how to eliminate food waste

Food waste at three of the City of Scottsdale’s major venues is minimal for the most part but there is room for improvement.

That was the message from Scottsdale Solid Waste Services Director Dave Bennett gave the city council during its July 1 meeting.

That is why his team, which has been studying the subject, is continuing on with the study for another 11 months to find ways to minimize food waste at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Scottsdale Stadium and the Scottsdale Civic Center.
