Scottsdale crews are working to clean up after a fierce Sept. 26 monsoon storm dumped heavy rain in a matter of hours - flooding parks, facilities and roadways.
City crews across multiple departments mobilized immediately, working through the night and into the weekend to restore safety, protect community assets and bring Scottsdale back to order, according to a press release.
“As evidenced by how quickly we turned around the state of the city after those big storms, I think we’re doing a very good job,” Mayor Lisa Borowsky said. “Our staff is working very hard to make sure the city looks beautiful, even in the face of major storms and damage.”
