Refuses to consider alternative parking solutions

The city of Scottsdale will have no downtown task force and the city council won’t entertain any other parking solutions in Old Town except for a parking garage at First Street and Brown Avenue.

The council voted down the creation of a seven-person task force to act as a go-between for the city and downtown merchants in a 5-2 vote during a special meeting called by

Mayor Lisa Borowsky to try and fulfill one of her campaign promises.
