Scottsdale City Council to vote on rehiring city manager Jim Thompson Oct. 10

No search or other interviews were conducted

Scottsdale City Manager Jim Thompson’s days as a contract employee appear to be to be coming to an end.

The city council is set to vote on rehiring him as an official city employee during its Oct. 10 meeting and all signs are pointing to Thompson getting the nod.

Council member Barry Graham said the feeling he is getting from his fellow council members points to Thompson being rehired.
