Scottsdale City Council to review next year’s budget

$2.29B budget is 10% decrease from this year

Scottsdale’s property tax rate should go down about 6% next year, according to the fiscal year 2024-25 budget proposed by city staff.

The city staff has proposed a $2.29 billion budget for next year, and the city council is set to review it during its April 16 meeting. Council is then scheduled to tentatively approve the budget May 14 and formally adopt it June 4.
However, while the property rate tax is expected to go down, city rates and fees are likely to go up.
