Scottsdale City Council to consider water deal with RVF

Water could start flowing in RVF again in as soon as a month

Precious water may soon be flowing through a standpipe to the parched Rio Verde Foothills.

Rio Verde Foothills Standpipe District Vice Chair Kent Thomas, predicted the wet stuff could be flowing within 30 days for the approximately 700 homes in the unincorporated community northeast of Scottsdale that rely on hauled water.

“The good news is we’re close,” Thomas said.
