Scottsdale council set to vote on proposed 2025-26 budget

Proposed budget down $87 million over this year

Though getting early looks at pieces of the possible 2025-26 budget in the past, the Scottsdale City Council will vote on the staff proposed preliminary budget May 20.

At this point, the budget weighs in at just over $2.2 billion, or about $87 million less than the current year’s budget.

The proposed budget has decreases in capital improvements and the reserves and contingencies funds but sees a hefty increase in the operations portion.
