Scottsdale City Council set to discuss water issues

The Scottsdale City Council will have a discussion on water conservation incentives sometime in the future.

Council voted 7-0 during its Aug. 25 meeting to approve Mayor Lisa Borowsky’s motion to put the topic on a future work agenda for a work study session.

The discussion will include topics such as hot water circulators, turf reduction, rainwater harvesting and smart meter irrigation controllers as well as potential partnerships for additional rebate funding through Salt River Project and Central Arizona Project.
