Scottsdale City Council repeals sustainability plan

Standing-room crowd felt disrespected

The city council voted 4-3 during its Jan. 14 meeting to repeal the plan that the last city council had just passed on Dec. 3, 2024.

The council also directed the interim city manager “to establish a sustainability task force to look at the long-term sustainability of the city by examining fiscal, population and conservation needs.”
