Scottsdale City Council poised to eliminate city DEI programs

Scottsdale City Council member Jan Dubauskas has placed an item on the council’s Feb. 11 meeting agenda eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion programs in the city.

The Scottsdale City Council is expected to eliminate funding for all diversity, equity and inclusion programs and find new jobs for the city’s diversity program director and ADA/Title VI compliance coordinator.

City Council member Jan Dubauskas requested a poll of the council members to put the item on the agenda.

Dubauskas also introduced an agenda item to require all city employees not working in city offices to return.
