Scottsdale council looks to improve city’s grip on alcohol-related crimes in Old Town

The Scottsdale City Council has put public safety in Old Town squarely in its sights.

The council voted unanimously during its Aug. 25 meeting to have its Community Safety Subcommittee look at ways to improve safety as it pertains to restaurants that serve alcohol in Old Town.

The council will then hold at some point in the future a work study session to consider the subcommittee’s recommendations
