Scottsdale council, budget commission to discuss $2.1B proposed budget

The Scottsdale City Council will get its first official look at next year’s budget as proposed by City Manager Greg Caton during its May 5 meeting with the Budget Review Commission.

Over all, the budget comes in at just over $2.1 billion, a reduction of $85 million, or about 3.8%, from the current year’s budget.

The operating side of that is $838.2 million, capital improvements come in at $881.9 million and contingencies and reserves are $398.8 million.
