Scottsdale City Council appoints Luis Santaella as city attorney

The Scottsdale City Council bumped Interim City Attorney Luis Santaella into the position on a permanent basis during it’s April 28 meeting. Santaella has worked as an attorney with the city for almost 25 years.

Interim Scottsdale City Attorney Luis Santaella is now the full-fledged city attorney.

The Scottsdale City Council voted unanimously during its April 28 meeting to approve the consent agenda, which included moving Santaella to the position permanently.

Afterwards, the council members applauded Santaella and Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield joked, “Does he know what he is getting into?”
