Scottsdale Chamber offers ‘Breakfast with a side of Community Safety’

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce i s host it’s Breakfast with a side of Community Safety from :7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m., Oct. 30 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, 6902 East Greenway Parkway.
The speakers at the event will be Karen Cahn of the SAFE Action Project and Scottsdale Police Chief Joe LeDuc, according to a press release..
Cahn will speak about how to recognize, report and help end human trafficking through specialized training and a “see something, say something” approach.

Chief LeDuc will speak about his department’s latest initiatives, including technology updates, community engagement efforts and innovative technology projects that improve police activities.
Participants will receive a “Be Safe” certificate, confirming completion of the training, at the end ot the session.
Admission is $40 for chamber members and $50 for guests and nonmembers.
