Scottsdale chamber hosts 37th annual Sterling Awards

Posted

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce is presenting the 37th annual Sterling Awards 2-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Virginia G. Piper Theater, 7380 E. 2nd St.

This annual event is a celebration of innovation and excellence, as well as community stewardship. The 2023 Sterling honorees will be revealed live at the celebration and tickets are available at scottsdalechamber.com/sterlingawards.

“The Sterling Awards are a great way to recognize those businesses that have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on our community,” said Stephanie Miller, Director of Events and Programs at the Chamber. “We are proud to honor these businesses, both finalists and honorees, for their commitment to excellence, innovation and community stewardship.”

Twenty-eight chamber member volunteers participated as judges in this competition. Divided among the four Sterling categories (Micro Business, Small Business, Big Business and Non-Profit) the judging teams (one for each category) score each applicant within their assigned category then visit each finalist company and interview key personnel. A professional video featuring each finalist will be produced by Sunhaus Media and revealed at the celebration prior to announcing the honorees.
