Hunkapi Programs, the Scottsdale-based equine therapy farm, is looking for donations to help care for the horses now that they are back from Flagstaff to escape the summer heat.
According to a press release, the organization is looking for:
• Fly spray to protect against seasonal insect activity.

• Supplements to prevent colic, which can be deadly for horses.
A $25 donation can buy a bale of hay to feed a horse up to five days. In-kind donations also help. Businesses or individuals can donate supplies or assist with transportation.
