After more than three decades of service to the City of Scottsdale, Jeff Walther is calling it quits.
Walther has announced he will retire April 3.
“I began my career with the Scottsdale Police Department 32 years ago this year and to say that I’ve been blessed over the intervening years would be an understatement,” Walther wrote in a letter to Mayor Lisa Borowsky and the rest of the City Council. “What an amazing journey in what I can only describe as the finest city with the finest municipal organization in our country over the entirety of my career.”
