Scottsdale Arts makes an effort to present the works of locally- and nationally-acclaimed Black artists within the African diaspora throughout the year — not just Black History Month.
“I’m glad to see them getting this recognition. These are fantastic artists who deserve the recognition,” said Scottsdale Arts Communications Manager Brian Passey.
Noting past and present exhibits to highlight the exemplary work of Black and African artists, he described the individual and collective artistic talents as “pretty amazing.”
