Scottsdale Ambulance Service six minutes old before first call

It didn’t take long for Scottsdale’s new ambulance service to be called into action.

The service, which was rolled out Dec. 15, had its first call within six minutes of going operational.

An ambulance team responded immediately to the scene of a car versus bicycle collision and transported the bicyclist to the hospital.
