Scottsdale Airport runway to be repaved this summer

Close to $11 million will be spent on the upcoming summer project rehabilitating Scottsdale Airport’s runway, pending the receipt of a Federal Aviation Administration grant.

The Scottsdale City Council approved a construction manager at risk contract for the airport project at an April 20 meeting.

The approved contract is with Phoenix-based J. Banicki Construction Inc., for $10,755,539 to conduct services as construction manager at risk for the runway rehabilitation project at Scottsdale Airport.
