While Scottsdale’s real estate market remains advantageous for sellers, the historically low interest rates have encouraged buyers amid the pandemic.
Scottsdale, as well as other cities in Maricopa County, has continued to have a low supply of residential properties. The lack of inventory has forced buyers to act quickly and make a competitive offer if they find a house the like.
As of Nov. 2, 84.86% of all of the 1,407 active listings in Scottsdale are under contract. Additionally, out of the 1,407 active listings, 872 are single family homes; 92.20% of which are under contract, according to the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service Inc. This means that for about every active property, there is nearly one property that is under contract.
