Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration returns to WestWorld for its 10th year Tuesday, July 4, from 5 to 9:30 p.m., delivering patriotic and cool family entertainment followed by a fireworks display.
Scottsdale 4th of July unites summertime favorites: food, fireworks and fabulous fun in the 300,000 square-foot, fully air-conditioned Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center at WestWorld. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, games, activities and more throughout the evening. The fireworks show will light up the night sky at approximately 9 p.m., according to a press release.
Scottsdale 4th of July also presents for fans who prefer the classic park-and-watch fireworks experience two options: they can purchase a polo field space or park in the “fireworks only- blue lot” on the north side of the property to watch the show.
There will be a Cold Beers and Cheesburgers slider eating competition, a medieval times show, and a parade of hereoes.
Guests will be red, white and cool in the air-conditioned facility of the north hall at WestWorld with an exciting day of events featuring a medieval times show and junior knight training. There will also be Disney performances and special character appearances from Disney princesses, Spiderman, Star Wars characters and Barbie on roller skates.
Traditional fan favorites like musical chairs, photos booths and an old-fashioned cake walks will also be part of the fun.
There will also be bull riding and mutton busting for children. The bull-riding rodeo competition by Copper State Rodeo Company will return to the arena along with mutton busting for kids as well as the presentation of colors.
The parade of heroes, recognizing outstanding leaders for their tireless efforts to protect and improve the lives of Arizonans, will return for the fourth year as well.
Heroes will be seperated into six categories: safety, fire safety, veterans, health, neighborhoods and community.
The event entrance will be at Bell Road and 96th Street.
