Apache Junction and Gold Canyon residents live in two school districts — East Valley Institute of Technology and Apache Junction Unified School District. Both entities were asked recently to provide information on funds spent on out-of-court settlements.
Separate public records requests were made seeking a five-year examination of out-of-court settlements including when claims were filed, when the settlement was made, the settlement amount, claimant, description of loss or claim and the department.
