School district forms finance oversight committee for spending $6.76M

Volunteers are needed from the community and school employees to determine how to spend more than $6.7 million on capital projects at Apache Junction Unified School District.

The district governing board unanimously approved the formation of an Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief/School Facilities Funds Oversight Committee. Applications are to be posted at ajusd.org on March 3.
