SCHOA membership picking up in Sun City

Officials’ efforts paying off

As Sun City Home Owners Association is a voluntary membership HOA, officials face an uphill battle maintaining members.

But efforts to recruit and maintain new members seem to be paying off this year. The agency had 644 more new members in September compared to the same period in 2021, according to Lisa Gray, SCHOA marketing manager. That new member increase has come from a number of sources, she added.

A new resource guide was published and distributed this month. In side was a new member application and 11 new residents sent in applications since Oct. 17 when the guide was sent out. In addition, six new members signed up during a new resident orientation session earlier this month, Gray said.
