The focused membership drive conducted by Sun City Home Owners Association to boost the group’s roster this year is showing results.
The organization charged with enforcing the community’s covenants, conditions and restrictions, has struggled through the years to maintain a high number of members. SCHOA, located at 10401 W. Coggins Drive, is unique in that it is a voluntary membership HOA. Therefore, agency officials must recruit members.
Another unique factor for SCHOA is the annual membership fee is low — $25 per year — compared with some HOAs that charge up to $200 or more per month.
