The coronavirus pandemic has created many challenges for Sun Cities residents, but it also has provided a route for many residents to become more tech savvy throughout the past year.
Laptops, smartphones and tablets have been purchased and are used by seniors on a daily basis. Some are used for reading electronic books or gaming entertainment, while others use them to pay bills and get the latest news.
But many of the added features available on smart devices have yet to be discovered. And while video chat was the way to connect during the pandemic while in isolation for health and safety, some individuals continued communicating by simply talk and text.
