SAVE Act addresses non-existent ‘problem’

Sun City West reader calls it another voter suppression effort

OPINION — The SAVE Act is another effort to make it harder for Americans to vote. It is estimated that at least 20 million Americans will be unable to provide the documents needed to register to vote. It’s another conservative effort to keep Americans from voting, in my opinion.

Now, Trump wants to prevent mail-in voting. The Heritage Foundation, a Koch-funded organization, found that in the past 20 years there were less than 140 ballots cast by mail that were fraudulent.

The SAVE Act is a bill that addresses a non-existent problem.
