A 55-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle collision around 5:40 p.m. Dec. 9 near 41st Street and Thomas Road, Phoenix police said.
John Ybarra died at a hospital following the crash, and the other driver remained at the scene, according to a release.
Detectives said they found preliminary information suggests Ybarra made a left turn in front of the other vehicle, resulting in the collision. More details will come following an accident reconstruction process, officials said.
