SASQ-Watch Home Services, a Mesa business, has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association

The NHWA, nationalhomewatchassociation.org, was formed in 2009 to establish and maintain industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Home watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence, according to a release.

All principals of NHWA accredited member companies are background-checked, insured and bonded, the release states.

SASQ-Watch Home Services is a home watch rent-by-owner partner and concierge service company offering local support for vacation rental owners and periodic absentee homeowners.

Owner Brad Smith is a veteran of 30-plus years as a sales professional specializing in medical and dental products and technologies. He and his family relocated to Arizona from the Seattle area.

Smith became interested in home watch and rent-by-owner partnering following his experiences owning and managing vacation rental property, the release states.
