Motorists traveling near the SanTan Village area should expect delays throughout August as multiple roadway improvement projects and a freeway closure affect traffic in southeast Gilbert.
Traffic restrictions at Williams Field Road and Market Street began July 30 and are expected to remain in place for about four weeks.
The work affects access to businesses and shopping areas near SanTan Village. Town officials have posted digital message boards with suggested detour routes and recommend drivers use SanTan Village Parkway when possible.
