San Tan Valley working on developing downtown core

The San Tan Calley Urban Core will have nine development areas for residential, commercial and industrial uses.

As San Tan Valley prepares for Pinal County to hand over governing responsibilities on July 1, the new town is already looking at a possible future downtown.

The San Tan Valley Urban Core plan encompasses almost 3,240 acres of state land generally located north of Bella Vista Road, south of Hash Knife Draw Road and east of Hunt Highway in the San Tan Valley area.
