The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 37-year-old man in San Tan Valley for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.
On Wednesday morning, PCSO detectives and the Pinal County Regional SWAT team served a search warrant at a home off North Gary Road and North Charbray Drive in San Tan Valley.
“There are some things with this subject that made us more comfortable using SWAT,” PCSO Sheriff Mark Lamb said in a video of the arrest posted on the agency’s Facebook page.
Anthony Renna was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
“This investigation began earlier this month when PCSO detectives received a tip that Renna had multiple (child sexual abuse material) files on his cell phone,” PCSO stated in a Facebook post.
