Salvatore Montalbano, 95Salvatore Montalbano, 95, of East Mesa, passed away June 3, 2008 in Mesa, Ariz.Mr. Montalbano, a construction painter, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served with honor in World War II. He enjoyed dancing, painting and travel and was one of the original painters of Disneyland.He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, of 60 years and his stepson, Martin.He is survived by his loving companion, Edna; stepdaughter, Jean; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
