Sales tax for Pinal County roads failing in latest unofficial tally

With 109 of 109 precincts reporting, a sales-tax increase to pay for Pinal County roads is failing 50.95% to 49.05% with 117,103 votes tallied, according to the Pinal County Elections Department website.

The early results posted at 7:03 p.m. Nov. 10 are: 57,439 voting “yes” and 59,664 voting “no” on Proposition 469.
