The Saguaro hotel in Scottsdale opened its doors earlier this month after closing down earlier this year in late March in response to the unfolding global COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the last five months, the hotel had to reduce the majority of its staff capacity after shutting down. This month, the Saguaro welcomes most of these employees back and excitement is in the air as staff members get back into the swing of things, explained Jose Iturri, general manager at the hotel.
“That was really important to be able to get a lot of great people back again and so we’re hoping that as business grows, we’ll get busier,” Mr. Iturri said.
