SAFE Alert issued for Antonio Ayala, 23, missing from Mesa, police say

A SAFE Alert was issued  and the Mesa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Antonio Ayala who is missing and was last seen at 4:35 p.m. Oct. 24 near Main Street and Power Road when he left his residence on his bicycle. He is autistic and his family is concerned for his welfare.

He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and black jeans.

Ayala is an American Indian male with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds.

A SAFE Alert was issued  and the Mesa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Antonio Ayala who is missing and was last seen at 4:35 p.m. Oct. 24 near Main Street and Power Road when he left his residence on his bicycle. He is autistic and his family is concerned for his welfare.

Ayala is an American Indian male with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds.

Arizona renamed the Silver Alert the Seek and Find Alert, or SAFE Alert, which expanded the alert to include missing persons with cognitive disabilities, prohibits the denial or delay of an alert and requires law enforcement agencies to develop and conduct training on the Seek and Find Alert Notification biannually, it states at https://www.azdps.gov/safe-alerts.
