SUN CITY - Ruth Greeney of Sun City, passed away on June 4, 2014. Ruth was born on December 28, 1915 in Morris, Minn., lived in Waseca, Albert Lea, and Richfield, Minn. until Joseph's retirement in 1974. Ruth was an enthusiastic volunteer for the SC Lapidary Club and Homeowner's Association. Ruth was a spirited and fiercely independent, smart woman and determined up to her final days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Greeney. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Dorothy A. VanBaak (Gary), Kay R. Paulson (Larry), JoAnn M. Greeney. Ruth was proud of her five grandchildren and six great grand children all living in the Midwest. There will be a grave dedication in Waseca, Minn. this summer.
